Education & Outreach

  • Environmental Education & Cultural Knowledge Day

The Environmental Education & Cultural Knowledge Day connects elementary students to the environment around them. Tribal programs and state agencies utilize visual and hands-on demonstrations to bridge the gap between Western science and cultural knowledge.

  • PACE Math & Science Camp

Preparing for Academic Excellence (PACE) is a fun, but challenging two-week math and science camp for Junior High students. Started in 1997 to prepare students for high school algebra, the camp continues to be held the last two full weeks of every July. More Information

  • STEM Fair

Our annual Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Fair began in 2006 and focuses on connecting junior high and high school students to the environmental, health, natural resources and technology fields. Participating students and schools join us from Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Montana on the first Thursday of every December.

  • Interns

The ERWM Intern Program was created to assist enrolled Nez Perce Tribal college students in professional career development by providing scholarships, mentoring, and employment opportunities in math, science, and environmental health.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
